Unfortunately for me, a the signal from a cell phone tower prevented me from digging the oldest part of the school. My metal detector picked up the signal, which caused the display to constantly give false signals. You can see what I mean in my video.
Here is episode #4 of my video blog, which covers my time at Blackshar Elementary:

Unfortunately, I am still skunked on silver coins. Here are my clad totals:
I am more than happy with $9.31 given my difficulty with the area. At least $6.00 came out of the playgrounds alone.
Thanks for reading and watching!

Congrats on your first Half-Dollar! I haven't found one of those yet :) Keep up the great blog...
ReplyDeleteThanks! I found it in the totlot, so I kinda feel like I cheated. Some kid probably dropped it last week, haha.
DeleteGreat video! Had a good laugh. But not at the aliens, which are totally real.
ReplyDeleteI still say that the interference came from the ground and not the antenna. Easy enough to check though, just move around the area of the antenna and if you get the same interference then you'll know for sure.
Dude! Did YOU stop swinging? Have you not been getting out?
ReplyDeleteI HAVE NOT stopped swinging. I am an educator and the end of the school year is here, and just have been very busy. I expect to get out and swinging again by the end of this month!
DeleteHave you tried to appraise them? Yours looks in shape.
ReplyDeleteAppraise what? The half dollar? It isn't silver and it isn't a key date.
